MAGNETO TELEPHONE

Skeleton style table telephone with Bell Receiver, fixed transmitter and generator.

Originally called the "Telephone, Table, Transmitter Type with Generator" it was later renamed as the Telephone No. 14 circa 1911.

Early table telephones were connected to the internal wiring with a Strip, Flexible Cord Connection.  Click here for more information.

This is an L.B. telephone and a separate battery box would be installed.  The batteries were required to power the transmitter.

Superseded by the Telephone No. 4 with Generator No. 4 and Bellset No. 5 in 1913.
