Originally called the "Telephone, Micro, P.O., Incomplete", it was later renamed as the Telephone No. 40.

Found in the 1910 Rate Book but not in the 1911 Rate Book.

This handset was fitted with a Deckert Transmitter or Transmitter-Inset, Ebonite, Complete.
