TELEPHONE No. 104
Portable telephone housed in a wooden case with leather carrying handle.

This telephone could be used with one of two handsets, which were either the Telephone No. 102 and Telephone No. 106.

Used as local sets, working through and adjacent to switchboards in small offices.

Introduced circa 1917 and produced for the UK Military.

The battery was disconnected by removal of the handset plug, before the case was closed.

Telephone No. 104 Mark 234 (1917) includes:-
1 x Coil, Induction No. 1.
1 x Jack No. 8.
1 x Telephone No. 102 or No. 106.
1 x Plug No. 406.

Requires two Dry Cells "X".
