Pedestal Telephone

Candlestick table telephone used with Repeater Telephonic No. 9A on C.B. systems.

As main difference between this set and a normal candlestick telephone is that the Switch Hooks have an additional set of contacts that make contact when off hook.  This contact set switches on the amplifier.

Early table telephones were connected to the internal wiring with a Strip, Flexible Cord Connection.  Click here for more information.
