TELEPHONE EXTENDING ARMS


The GPO had a Bracket, Telephone No. 8, which is thought to be an extending, scissors type telephone bracket.  The problem is that no pictures or drawings exist of this bracket.

The GPO did, however, approve the 'Walligraph' arm as an "Approved Attachment".  As these were not electrical or connected to the telephone network, the customer could purchase the bracket privately and fit their telephone on them.
