It has an integral transistorised ringing generator, a local battery coil and an additional gravity switch operated springset. The mesh under the bell gongs is to stop insects and foreign objects entering the telephone. The case also has a foam strip, were the base meets the casing, to stop dust entering the telephone. Used by the Irish P&T as their Model 100M Mark 560 on Magneto circuits. Requires a 4.5v or 6v power supply / batteries to power the transmitter and operate the ringing generator.
