For carrying small Instrument Tools in the waistcoat pocket
1. Description
The
"Case, Tool" is a small flat leather case, which can be carried conveniently
in the waistcoat pocket, and is provided for the purpose of holding small
instrument tools which are liable to become mislaid or damaged when carried
in the same container as tools of a larger size. It is approximately 4in.
long and 3in. wide, is divided into three compartments and, when opened, a
portion of the front of the Case can be turned back so that all the tools in
the Case are visible.
2. Tools to be accommodated
Typical tools which should be accommodated in the Case are "Cleaners,
Contact, No's 1 and 2" ; Feeler Gauges "Spikes, Capstan, Nos. 2, 3. 4 and
5"; and "Insulators, Contact, No. 1" ; also the smaller sizes of "Spanner,
Flat," and "Spanners, Cranked."
