General description
The crane is a hydraulically-operated slewing type mounted on a 7 ton chassis/cab. The jib is of the cantilever type with two articulated sections each of which can be raised or lowered hydraulically independently. The arc of slewing is 220 degrees and all movements of the crane are controlled from the driving seat of the vehicle.

Three hooks are provided, one 2 ton hook in fixed position, one 26 cwt hook capable of being propelled along the front jib for a distance of 5 feet and one fixed hook on end of jib for lifting a load of 11 cwt. No ropes are employed as the hooks are fixed to the jibs. A locking pin is provided to lock the superstructure with the jibs forward over the vehicle cab when travelling on the road.
