 This Commer LN4 bonneted 3 ton Stores Lorry would have been used for local delivery work.  These bonneted Commer lorries had a Rootes Group 6 cylinder petrol engine and were sometimes referred to as the 'Superpoise' model, though that term generally applies to the slightly later models with a modified bonnet styling.
