Vehicle description
This vehicle is based on a British manufactured medium weight chassis cab. The body is of the lift off design concept and made to BT specification from durable glass reinforced plastic panels. Four types of body are available on this chassis to suit specific user needs. Specifications of these are shown overleaf.

The cab design is modern, functional and well laid out, with easy to use controls. Stowage space for coats and bags is also provided.
Natural lighting is provided to the vehicle body through the translucent roof panels backed up by strip lighting when required. Ventilation is achieved by an adjustable ventilator situated in the centre of the roof. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.7 litre petrol engine operating on 2 star fuel.

The vehicle is easy to drive and comfortable. Cruising speed is approximately 50 mph, and with a fuel tank capacity of 14 gallons, average 18 mpg, the range of the vehicle would be in the order of 250 miles.

Utilisation
This is an extremely versatile vehicle which can be adapted to suit some 33 occupational groups, the main ones being jointers, installers, HELOs and PTOs. It can also be used in basic form as a stores carrying vehicle by using either body type B3 or drop side body.

The flexibility which can be achieved by the complete interchangeability of the various body types with any chassis cab, provides the facility for more efficient fleet utilisation than can be obtained from a similar fleet of panel vans. The potential savings arising from improved fleet utilisation will be largely dependent on the size and mix of the fleet at any one location.

Drivers time lost, as a result of a vehicle requiring maintenance or repair, is greatly reduced by the elimination of the time consuming task of transferring individual tools and equipment to a reserve vehicle. The original body, complete with equipment, can be transferred on to a reserve chassis and cab in approximately 10 minutes.

Delivery time: 4 to 12 weeks.
Economic service life: 8 years chassis cab and 16 years body.
Taxation class: Private and light goods
