GPO Vehicles

This vehicle, when used in combination with a semi-trailer, has a payload of 12 to 18 tonnes dependent on the trailer used. The vehicle shown is fitted with a Rolls Royce 265bhp diesel engine and 9 speed gearbox.  The tilt cab is equipped with radio, suspension driver's seat and extensive sound insulation.  Fuel tank capacity is 500 litres (110 gallons), and the operating range is approximately 750 miles. For added safety the vehicle is fitted with front fog lamps, spray suppressing mud-flaps and anti-skid devices.
