Trailer Description
The range of trailer drum trailers (CDT5) comprises No 1 2a, 3 and 4. They are designed to carry drums of varying weights, diameters and widths. All of the chassis are of steel construction and each trailer is equipped with hand operated hydraulic drum handling facilities. The trailers incorporate rear steady legs and aerial mast supporting brackets. All trailers are fitted with mechanical safety devices to secure the loaded drum in the raised position.

The No 2 trailer was designed for operating in conjunction with the R&LC vehicle or other light cabling duties, whilst the No 3 was primarily designed for use with the PE3 for aerial cabling work.
