Excavator description
This tractor is designed to be a universal trenching, digging and mole ploughing aid. It consists of a tour wheeled drive tractor unit onto which are mounted the following:
1 x Vibratory mole plough unit
2 x Chain type trench excavator
3 x Backhoe type excavator
4 x Backfill blade
5 x Cable drum carrier

The tractor is powered by a 4 cylinder 60kw/80hp diesel engine and is fully equipped for use on the public highway.

The tractor provides a continuously variable range of low speeds suitable for trenching and ploughing. The hydrostatic transmission is capable of providing infinitely variable road speeds from 0 to 10km/h (12mph). It can be operated in either 4 or 2 wheel drive. The rear brakes, which can be operated independently under operating conditions, are linked together for road use. Power steering is a standard feature.

For driver comfort and convenience the four post roll over safety cab is fitted with rubber mounting, thick padded upholstery, tinted glass and fixed sound proofed roof. Also fitted are two lift off doors, two opening side windows and rear double hinged window.

Windscreen wipers and washers, tool box and rear view mirrors are standard.

The main controls are located in the cab and are within easy and comfortable reach of the operator. Operation of the backhoe is from the front of the tractor bonnet. An operator's seat is provided at this point, with the backhoe controls close to it.

The tractor is capable of several hours' continuous operation without refuelling.
