Description
This excavator is equipped with 7.5kw (10p) air cooled petrol engine and 5 speed
winch to provide positive trenching action. Speeds range from 29 to 100 metres
per hour and straight or curved trenches can be cut down to a 2 metre radius, in
wet, soft or loose surface conditions. With the winch wire anchored and the
correct speed selected the machine will operate automatically. Trenches can be
cut up hills or banks of 1 in 3 and the machine levelling screws enable the
trench to be kept vertical when cutting across slopes or uneven ground.
In order to keep engine noise to a minimum, acoustic sound
suppressing panels have been fitted.
The standard machines weigh 323kg and come equipped with a
boom, to make trenches 101 mm x 610mm. Dimensions of the machine are shown
below.
