Manufactured by Peel Conner (GEC) of Britain, this telephone was built to an Australian specification.  This telephone is similar to the Type No. 37 except the Solid Back transmitter has been replaced by an Inset Transmitter, with a Bakelite mouthpiece.

Produced in Automatic (AW) and C.B. (CBW) variants.
