Introduced circa 1912 and used on the first Strowger exchange at Epsom.

There was an American make and an English make. 

Bellset included (1928):-
American make includes
1 x Bell (on door of case or on body of case).
1 x Condenser, M.C., No. 4.

English make includes - Marks 234 and 235
1 x Bell No. 1A, unmounted, with bias spring.
1 x Condenser, M.C., No. 3.
