Telephone No. 2600

Pictures taken 1910

A Candlestick or pedestal style desk telephone that was no doubt based on the US Western Electric No. 1020 telephone. These telephones can be found in the UK, probably imported by British Western Electric from the BTMC Antwerp works.

These could be used on Magneto, Central Battery or Local Battery circuits, depending on the Bellset fitted.

This style superseded the Golfball candlestick, No. 2589.
