CENTRAL BATTERY-POWERED INTERCOM TELEPHONE Telephones No. 2749 and No. 2849
feature a new design and a clean, simple line that harmonizes with the look
of modern office furniture; they are intended for both automatic and manual
networks. With the "H" models, a guard and transfer button is located below the dial. All the telephone components are mounted on a base plate secured by three screws and easily removable. Four profiled rubber washers are fixed under the base plate to protect the surfaces on which the unit is placed. The microtelephone has a very pleasing
shape, and the springs of its switch are equipped with double contacts.
The corresponding wall-mounted type is Telephone No. 2725G or No. 2725H. Taken from the BTMC Catalogue - 1952
