A magneto bell (1000ohm resistance), specially constructed for use
in installations where a loud and silent call is desired, and which
can be heard over a considerable distance if necessary. The bell is
protected by a cast iron cover, and the entire assembly is mounted
on a solid metal frame. Several of these bells can be placed in the
same circuit by using a magnetic generator whose voltage is
appropriate for the number of bells to be operated simultaneously
and for the resistance of the line through which the current must
pass.
