This instrument is specially suitable for military purposes and for
railways, in fact, for use anywhere where only a temporary telephone station is required. It is fitted with hand micro-telephone No. 492 with waterproof cord No. 2162, two dry
cells No. 600, generator, bell, lightning protector, and terminals for line and earth.
This instrument is largely used in the British Army. The whole is enclosed in a handsome
case of polished oak.
