C. B. Telephones Moulded black Bakelite, which is easy to keep clean and does not become shabby through long usage, is the material used for the caseworks of the telephones illustrated in this page. Apertures are arranged in the base or back-plates to permit clear audibility of ring from the ringers which are fitted inside and the Bakelite micro-telephones are fitted with detachable receivers and "inset" transmitters. Where a wall instrument is required, and especially one which occupies a small space this modern and distinctive design is ideally suitable. When it is fixed to a wall the interior is readily accessible by simply unscrewing one screw only, furthermore, the complete interior equipment may be removed as a unit without taking the set from the wall. Dimensions 8.5 x 9.25 x 4.25 inches Weight 5.75 lb. Introduced around 1936. Diagram N19927. Taken from the Ericsson Telephone Catalogue, edition No. 26, 1935 Supplement Introduced 1935 and made obsolete in 1958. |
