This instrument is designed for the same purpose as the model N1830, but it is fitted with a more powerful generator.

It is specially suitable for testing long lines or those where the insulation is low, and may also be used as a temporary station during construction operations.

The apparatus and battery are completely enclosed in a hardwood case which fits into a strong leather carrying cover with shoulder strap.

Overall dimensions 9 x 9.5 x 4.25  inches.
