THE CONNECTIONS ARE MADE BY MEANS OF PLUGS.
FRAMEWORK
Woodwork, polished walnut and the legs enamelled cast-iron. The jack and indicator field is covered with fibre.
EQUIPMENT
LINE AND CONNECTING JACKS are arranged in vertical or horizontal rows (see table) with as many jacks in each row as the number of lines for which the switchboard is built. The number of connections which can be made at the same time is equal to the number of rows of jacks.
PLUGS. 2 plugs are provided for every row of jacks and 2 spare plugs in addition.
1 x CALLING KEY for each line.
1 x OPERATOR'S KEY for each row of connecting jacks.
1 x CALLING INDICATOR for each line.
1 x CLEARING INDICATOR for each row of connecting jacks.
NIGHT BELL.
NIGHT BELL SWITCH.
GENERATOR. RH 5000, 5-magnet.
MICROTELEPHONE. RE 5052 with cord RS 7021.
TESTING KEY.
SWITCH for disconnecting one of the clearing indicators.
In types OA 800/10 and OA 800/16 the jacks are arranged in vertical rows, in all the other types they are arranged horizontally.
