Rack mounted Key and Lamp Unit used in large exchanges and repeater stations, with a capacity of 10 lines and using 700 type telephones..

Known as Multiple Access Telephone Equipment (MATE), this later model superseded the early model, that was based on the No. 192 telephone.

Conforms to 62-type rack practice.

Introduced in the 1970's.
