When the GPO took over the NTC they inherited all their equipment.  The NT telephones were renamed as "Instruments, Subscriber, Wall/Table, N.T. No. X.  Many of these were made obsolescent relatively quickly but some were subsumed into the equivalent GPO telephone type.

In 1907 the NTC telephone line charges in Brighton were as follows:-
10 party Exchange line - 1d per day.
2 party Exchange line - £3 per annum with unlimited service.
Exclusive Exchange line - £3/10/0 per annum plus 1/2d per call.
Exclusive Exchange line - £5/0/0 per annum allowing 1800 free calls.
