PRESS BUTTON G

The Press Button G came in a number of varieties.  They all operate a 2 terminal contact set of the 'Make' type.

The varieties are as follows:-
Press Button G, Black.
Press Button G, Brass.
Press Button G, Brass with waterproof barrel.
Press Button G, Brown.
Press Button G, Cocus.
Press Button G, Ebony.
Press Button G, Rosewood.
 

Press Button G, Black
This button has a moulded base and cover, coloured black.

Press Button G, Brown
This button has a moulded base and cover, coloured brown.

Heavy duty press button with waterproof barrel
Initially used in Kiosks as an emergency button in C.B. areas.  Fitted on the backboard either with a Label No. 187 (Shown in the picture) or in the centre of the emergency frame with Label No. 231.

Generally found today fitted on the door frame of telephone exchanges and used as a door bell.
