TELEPHONE No. 38


Originally called the "Telephone, Micro, C.B." these were just a handset only.  They were renamed as the Telephone No. 38 circa 1911.

This handset could be supplied with a hook for hanging purposes, in which case it was called Telephone, Micro, C.B. with hook".  It could also be ordered with a loop.

These were fitted with a press key in the handle.

Fitted with Cord No. 411 or Cord No. 409 with "Hook Suspension for Micro-Telephone C.B." on the "hook" variant.

In 1914 the NTC "Micro Telephones, Hand, N.T. No. 5" were renamed Telephone No. 36.

Superseded by the Telephone No. 86 in 1916.

Found in the 1906, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914 and 1915 Rate Books.

1 x Cord, Instrument No. 4/11.
1 x Earpiece No. 9 (Mark N.T. 5).
1 x Diaphragm No. 18 (Mark N.T. 5).
