 A CB Microtelephone for night operators.
This is a handset with press button in handle. The press button normally shorts the transmitter,
thus muting outgoing speech.
Probably used on exchange switchboards for monitoring purposes.
This Telephone could also be supplied with a suspension loop and this was
superseded by the Telephone No. 94 with loop.
This handset superseded the Telephone No. 38
in 1915.

The Mark 236 was introduced circa 1927.
