Pedestal Telephone

Candlestick telephone used with Repeater, Telephonic No. 9A in Automatic areas.

Fitted with a switch hooks comprise of two sets of springs.  One set being a make and the other a set of three springs that all make together.

Used in conjunction with a Bellset No. 1 which was connected to the amplier.

There was an extra contact set consisting of 2 terminals which made when the receiver is lifted.  This contact set switched the amplifier on.

Connection to the Repeater telephonic was by Cord, Instrument No. 702.

1 x Cord, Instrument No. 222.
1 x Cord, Instrument No. 356.
1 x Cord, Instrument No. 233.
1 x Cord, Instrument No. 702.
1 x Dial, Automatic No. 10 (obtained locally).
1 x Receiver, Bell No. 1A.
1 x Transmitter No. 1.
