TELEPHONE No. 784


Basic network, low send level, MF push button table telephone with provision for four push buttons in case.

This telephone is based on the Telephone 740 and is also the same specification as the  Telephone No. 782.

Introduced circa 1978.

Used on MF signalling systems.

The Telephone No. 8786RR was fitted with a Timed Break Recall button (Register Recall).  The telephone is fitted with a Kit-CP100, which is a small circuit board and whose use and circuit diagrams are covered in Specification S1376.

For the new plan socket system in the UK the Telephone No.  8784 was introduced.  This telephone was fitted with a Bell No. 59D-1 (high impedance bell coils 4000 ohms) and a Cord Connection No. 4/502 3000mm.
