TELEPHONE SA 4284


This is a Telephone No. 746 modified as a Teleprax telephone.

The telephone has an DC buzzer installed and a plug ended cord..

The Teleprax consists of two telephones, connected as per diagram SA 4284, to a Battery Box D93265 which includes two Jacks No. 84A, a Jack No. 99, two capacitors and a 6 volt battery.

Available in the colours:-
Blue, Green, Red, Yellow and Grey.

On Tuesday, December 8, 1970, the name TELEPRAX was registered as a trademark.  Application number UK00000968774.

The Trademark definition was - Teaching and instructional apparatus and instruments and teaching machines.

BT claimed ownership but the current status for this trademark is defined as "dead" as from 2005.
