A table-top telephone with black enamelled steel casing, Bakelite handset (Model 50 style) or original standard handset, two nickel-plated brass dials on either side of the telephone and textile-covered cordage.

The spring-loaded push-button on the top of the device allows the microphone to be temporarily short-circuited during a call to improve the audibility of the earphone.

The device is intended for use by two people at a double-sided desk using the same telephone.
