TELEPHONE - TABLE
For Automatic telephone systemsBC 566
The BC 566 has two push-buttons for connecting and disconnecting the main
line and the local extension respectively. The white push-button connects
the main line to the intermediate station set, the black push-button
connects the local line and sends a ringing signal to the master set. While
a call is in progress on the main line, enquiries can be made on the local
line. The indicator shows "white" when the handset is lifted if the main
line is busy on the extension. The intermediate station is equipped with an
AC bell for the signal from the main line and a DC bell for the signal from
the extension. The power source is a 6 volt dry cell battery or a battery
eliminator. When a call comes in on the main line, the bells in both devices
ring.
The telephone BC 567 is used as the extension.
