Some of the ranges made by Autophon, Ascom and ATL were identical. The SD phone
can be identified by the shape of the LED's, the Ascom LED's being oblong
whilst the ATL LED's are round.ASCOM was formed in 1987 by the merger of three Swiss companies:-
Autophon, Hasler and the Telecoms side of Zellweger. Ascom sold this part
of their business to ATL.
