which was the Swedish state telephone administration at the time. The main
differences from the BC 330 is that it has a more rounded and soft appearance
and the dial is made from Bakelite instead of metal.
The L. M. Ericsson model number is
DBH 15X48.
Dimensions:
Length 185 mm.
Height 135 mm.

Ericsson's new 1947 Bakelite telephone had a softer
shape, an impact-resistant thermoplastic finger disc and a handset that was
curved and streamlined for better ergonomics.
It was named the BC 560, model 50, in the Telegrafverket network and
replaced the earlier BC 330, model 33, as the
standard device in 1950. The model was also available in colours other than
black, made of thermoplastic. The assembly of the apparatus was transferred
to the newly built factory in Karlskrona. This model marked the end of the
use of Bakelite in Swedish telephone manufacture.
