WALLBOARD MENU
The GPO used wallboards for many purposes and this meant that a number of ready to use boards were made available.

Engineers would refer to dimensioned layout drawings when using the appropriate wall board.  These wallboards were supplied with no fittings.

Available from the early 1900's.

Corner stand off blocks were approximately 3/4inch thick.

Typical use of a Wallboard
In this case a 33inch x 18inch board is used to wall mount a telephone and associated equipment
