WALLBOARD MENU

The GPO used wallboards for many purposes and this meant that a number of standard boards were made available.  These were ordered by size. i.e. Wallboard 12" x 7".

In the mid 1930's specialist wallboards for coin boxes where introduced and these were prefixed by the letter "D".

Standard Wallboards

When using standard wallboards engineers would refer to dimensioned layout drawings when using the appropriate wall board.  These wallboards were supplied with no fittings.

Available from circa 1912.

Corner stand off blocks were approximately 3/4inch thick (if fitted).
