PANASONIC A SERIES
VA309, VA616, VA824 and VA1232


The Panasonic A series is also know as the VA series, but the products are normally only labelled with an A. 

A309
The A309 is supplied as a 3 exchange line and 5 extension (keyset) system, which can be expanded to a 3 + 9 system with an optional extension card.  There were two optional extensions cards available: 4 x POT or 2 x POT & 2 x Key sets.  Door release and external conference are optional.

 

A616
Standard system came as a 4+8.  It could be expanded to a maximum of 6+16.  The system accepts terminals and POTS.  Door release and external conference are optional.

 

A824
This is supplied as an 6+12 but is expandable to 8+24, by the addition of option cards.  Each expansion card takes up two slots.  An additional 2 port exchange card can also be added as an option. Requires a VA-12022 telephone, connected to Ext 10, for programming.  The first 12 extensions are feature phone only and 4 POT phones can be added by use of option cards.

VA-82444 - CO/PBX line card - 2 port line card.
VA-30940 - Station Card I - 4 port Featurephone card.
VA-30941 - Station Card II - 4 port POT card.
VA-30942 - Station Card III - 2 port POT & 2 port Featurephone.
VA-30960 - Door box card.
VA-30961 - Door box.
VA-30965 - Power failure unit.

Telephones:-
VA-30920 - Standard 3 COL telephone.
VA-12020 - Standard 12 COL telephone.
VA-12021 - Speaker phone, 12 COL.
VA-12022 - Speaker phone, 12 COL, with LCD display.
 

A1232
The basic system is 8+16 which is expandable to a maximum capacity of 12 exchange lines and 32 extensions, by the addition of option cards.
Option Cards:-
VA-82444 - 2 port Trunk card.

A VA-120210 Featurephone will be required for programming.

A DSS console is also available.

Programming

To default the system
Set switch to CLEAR and power on, wait until the LED starts to
flicker and then set switch back to HOLD.
