POST OFFICE TOWER - LONDON
MUSEUM TOWER


These pages are about the famous communication tower in London known by many names those being the GPO Tower, the Museum Tower, the Post Office Tower, the British Telecom Tower and the BT Tower.  The main structure is 581 feet tall, but when the aerial rigging is included brings the total height to 620 feet.  The building was opened in 1965.

The Tower is built alongside the existing Museum Telephone Exchange.  The two buildings are linked by a collar.
