Tester No. 132

This is a kit of parts used for cable and cable pair identification and was originally supplied in a hard plastic carry case, called a Case No. 110A.

The kit can be used for the following tasks.

  • Identifying cables
  • Cable route tracing
  • Short circuit location
  • Earth fault location
  • Identifying split pairs
  • Identifying wire pairs

Tester No. 137

Tester No. 137A comprises receiving equipment with a capacitive probe only.  It is used for pair identification when tone is applied by apparatus in an exchange or by an oscillator forming part of a separate tester.
