Trailers had their own serial numbers, starting at T6000 in the 1930's and ending at T13999 in 1966.  The serials then started at T205000 and stopped at T207500, when the ten digit new style serials started in 1971.  Some trailers produced prior to 1971were re-serialised with a 10 digit number.
